We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are verbally inspired by God and inerrant and infallible in the original writings. The Bible is completely reliable and is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. Its teachings instruct us in all that is necessary for salvation and godly living. (1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

We believe there is one sovereign God eternally existing in one essence, yet in three co-equal and co-eternal persons, the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Psalm 103:19; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2)

We believe Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born to the virgin Mary. (John 3:16; Luke 1:34-35; Galatians 4:4)

We believe the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. He is the life of the believer and He empowers the preaching and teaching of the Gospel. (John 16:8-13; Acts 1:4-8; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; Ephesians 1:13-14)

We believe mankind was created in the image and likeness of God. He willfully sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but spiritual death, which is separation from God. All human beings are born with a sinful nature. (Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 3; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:10-18, 23; Romans 5:12)

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice. All who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood. (John 3:16; 1 Peter 1:18-19; Colossians 1:19-20)

We believe the crucified body of our Lord was resurrected from the grave, that He ascended into heaven, and that He is presently engaged there as our High Priest and Advocate. (John 20; Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 7:25; 1 John 2:1)

We believe in the blessed hope, which is the personal, visible and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:11; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12; Hebrews 9:28; Revelation 19:11-16; John 14:1-4)

We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again by the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God and heirs of eternal life. (John 3:16; Romans 10:9-13; 1 Corinthians 15:1-5; Ephesians 1:4-12 and 2:8-9)

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting conscious suffering of the lost in hell, and the fellowship of the saved in heaven. (John 11:23-27; 1 Corinthians 15:51-57; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:4-21:5)

We believe in the existence of a personal devil, who is still working in the world to destroy the souls of men, and that he and all his angels and all who do not receive Christ as their personal Savior will eternally perish in the lake of fire. (Luke 4:1-13; 1 Peter 5:8-9; Revelation 12:7-10 and 20:10; Mark 9:42-48)

We believe in the Church, whose mission it is to worship God in Spirit and truth, to instruct its members in the Scriptures, to engage in intimate fellowship with one another, and to evangelize the world, beginning with our local community, unto the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. As individuals we are members of the body of Christ at large and as a local church we are collectively a representation of the Church universal. (John 4:23-24; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8 and 2:41-47; 1 Corinthians 12-14; Philippians 2:1-4)

We believe that the ordinances of the Church, given by the Lord, are Baptism and the Communion. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:38; Luke 22:14-20; 1 Corinthians 11:17-34)

We believe that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever; that the miracle working power of God displayed in the pages of Scripture is still at work in our world today; and that the gifts of the Holy Spirit have not ceased but operate through believers today as the Spirit wills for the glory of God. (Hebrews 13:8; 1 Corinthians 12-14; Ephesians 4:11-13; Romans 12:6-8)
